PLEASE VOLUNTEER!

ChemEd 2019 is in need of volunteers during the week of July 21, 2019 to July 25, 2019 at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. We are expecting over 700 chemistry educators to attend and volunteers help make conferences like this a success!

Who should volunteer?

Conference attendees are encouraged to sign up to volunteer during a small portion of the conference.
North Central College students
Anyone willing and able (that meet the criteria below!)

please note that volunteering does not gain you access to the conference programming

Each volunteer must fill out a VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION FORM. Please read the volunteer guideline below:

Volunteers that are under the age of 18 years at the time of the conference must fill out and return this additional form.
The volunteer spot(s) you select on the sign-up form are the spot(s) you will be assigned based upon availability.
Volunteers will be needed at various times of the day, mainly between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. with some evening and weekend hours.
Volunteers should have knowledge about the North Central College campus and its facilities, a friendly attitude, the ability to follow directions and interact with a diverse population.
As a volunteer, you are representing North Central College and its likeness.
Some positions may require previous experience and/or a background check.

What to Wear

Each volunteer will receive one complimentary short sleeve, cotton t-shirt.
To identify you as a volunteer, please wear your volunteer t-shirt when you are working your assigned shift, regardless of weather.
